Frequently Asked Questions
The film is made of Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP). It features high transparency, customizable thickness options, and is available in both glossy and matte finishes to suit different packaging requirements.
The thickness of the film typically ranges from 15 to 50μm, with 20-30μm being the most common standard. We also offer customizable thickness options, such as 21μm, to meet specific customer requirements.
The glossy surface treatment provides a high-gloss finish with a friction coefficient of 0.2-0.4. The matte treatment features an anti-glare finish with a higher friction coefficient of 0.4-0.6.
It is widely applied in food packaging (meat, fruits, dairy, snacks), medical packaging (devices and medicine), electronic product packaging (components and testing equipment), and other specialty fields like fine chemicals.
For the HGPP121 common grade, the OTR is 0.7 cm³/m²·day and the WVTR is 5.3 g/m²·day. The HGPP221 boiling grade offers an improved OTR of 0.4 cm³/m²·day (or 0.5 under 98°C/30min boiling conditions) and a WVTR of 5.3 g/m²·day. Both feature a low haze of around 1.4% and a high light transmittance of 91.6%.
