HySum Joins Forces with LG Chem to Embark on a "Zero" Carbon Journey for a Better Future

Following the establishment of the Advanced Low-Dimensional Materials Center in collaboration with Donghua University, HySum has taken another important step in the field of sustainability by reaching a preliminary cooperation agreement with LG Chem on innovative single-material solutions. In the future, the two companies are expected to collaborate in the field of environmental membrane materials.

Recently, LG Chem and members of the Korea Packaging Association visited HySum's Huzhou base for a tour and in-depth business discussions. The two companies have reached a preliminary agreement on innovative single-material solutions, with plans to leverage their respective technological expertise and resource advantages to collaborate in the field of environmentally friendly membrane materials.

At a seminar, LG Chem and HySum shared their latest insights on green packaging trends, technologies and products.

An LG Chem representative presented the company's strategic goals, which include achieving carbon neutrality by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2050. To support its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives and sustainable development strategy, LG Chem has launched the "LETZero" brand for eco-friendly materials.

HySum has always been committed to "providing quality packaging for global premium products" and has ensured the safety of pharmaceutical products in over 30 countries. As a member of the Korea Packaging Association, the association's team also visited HySum's Huzhou base, laying a strong foundation for future in-depth cooperation.
