On September 24, to promote the widespread adoption and practice of packaging sustainability and circular economy principles, the China Packaging Federation's Circular Economy Professional Committee, along with the Packaging Users Professional Committee and other platforms, jointly launched the “Green Packaging Circulation China Tour - Entering CPiS2024” event in Tongli, Suzhou.
HySum was invited to participate and received the Outstanding Project Award for its low-carbon, high-barrier
eco friendly packaging product series during the “Green Packaging Circulation China Tour - Entering CPiS2024.”
Since June 2023, the Green Packaging Circulation China Tour has traveled through three stages, spreading the torch of the “green packaging circulation concept” across the country and into various enterprises.
Li Hua, President of the China Packaging Federation, ignited a torch symbolizing the hope for “green packaging and circular development,” solemnly passing it to HySum and a number of leading companies in the packaging industry, witnessing their commitment and efforts toward green packaging circulation.
The event recognized brands and suppliers that have made outstanding contributions to the field of
biodegradable packaging circulation, awarding them honor medals. HySum, with its low-carbon, high-barrier recyclable packaging products, was honored with the Outstanding Project Award.
At the subsequent sharing session, HySum presented its practices and case studies on the path to low carbon. As a leading enterprise in high-barrier recyclable flexible packaging materials, HySum integrates
earth friendly packaging into its core mission, incorporating environmental factors into business decisions and long-term investments, actively promoting carbon reduction and minimizing environmental pollution, thereby embodying sustainability through tangible actions.
Previously, HySum launched the industry’s first visual carbon footprint platform for flexible packaging. This platform allows enterprises to easily manage the entire lifecycle of product carbon footprints digitally, enabling the formulation of reasonable emission reduction measures and facilitating scientific decarbonization, thus accelerating the transition to intelligent and green operations.

n terms of industry-academia collaboration, HySum works with the Advanced Low-Dimensional Materials Center at Donghua University to conduct research on
new single-material high-barrier flexible packaging structures and sustainable low-carbon flexible packaging materials, focusing on solving the challenges and pain points within the flexible packaging industry.
Although the event has concluded, HySum's commitment to green packaging circulation will continue. We believe that the packaging industry’s system will become increasingly refined with green, low-carbon, and circular principles.
HySum will lead by example, striving to build a hub for sustainable soft packaging innovation while continuously providing technological solutions and project demonstrations for recyclability and carbon reduction, moving towards a greener, low-carbon future.
